وہ جو کرتا تھا دعوے عشق کے،
آج کسی اور کا ہو گیا چپکے سے۔
عشق کی راہ میں درد ہی درد ہے،

عشق میں جینا بھی عذاب ہوتا ہے،
ہر دن مرنے کا حساب ہوتا ہے۔
عشق میں سب کچھ سہنا پڑتا ہے،

جو ہنر سیکھا تھا دنیا سے جینے کا،
وہ سب بھول گیا تیرے عشق میں۔
